Things went great for this year's Carver Center Open Day where Raymond Duchesne, the resident chess club host kindly agreed to perform a Chess Simul. For those that don't know what that is, you can check out the wikipedia article : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simultaneous_exhibition And a youtube video is below after the break.

The first year, there were only four or five players. Last year, there were eight. This year, we got twelve players participating - a fabulous success and creating a great trend at Carver Center. This year, alternate publicity channels had to be used and they worked great.
Of course, Raymond Duchesne (who has been accused of being a master by some), took it in his stride and worked hard for more than two hours. He looked quite exhausted by the effort at the end.

Thanks to everyone who attended and thanks to Raymond for being willing to work so hard so that a bunch of chess players could have something fun and different. If you want to see all the pictures, you can go here.
Here's a youtube video of a simultaneous exhibition.
